Off we go..
The Hoover Dam Bridge - well part of it anyway...
The Dam: it's a dam, what can I say. There are lots of people who stop here to gawk, it took us at least an hour to make this crossing due to traffic congestion.
And we're going to the Grand Canyon...
still going...
and going...
and going...
and going...
Welcome to the Grand Canyon!
Amazing Views! The canyon is about 10 miles across and the views and without a cloud in the sky we could see mountains 130 miles away!
Sunset at the Grand Canyon
Sunrise at the Grand Canyon
Off to Page...
Passing through the painted desert
Antelope Canyon

Views of Page and Lake Powell
The Horseshoe Canyon - not sure why it's called a horseshoe, but then again I don't wear shoes...can you see the boat? It's a long way down.
Welcome to Las Vegas!
I must admit that it looks best at night.
We stayed here:
This is the south strip view from our room.

Vegas is a very cool place...
I can tour the world without leaving the city...
Paris
Venice
New York

and I can see the exotic local wildlife.
Of course no trip would be complete without a trip to Freemont Street.
This place is pretty cool, you can use real coins in the slot machines (but only nickels and quarters), you are completely surrounded by lights, the ceiling is a massive movie screen and you can get awesome food...
...deep fried twinkie anyone?
Cheers, Until the Next Trip!
